Chinese company buys USF vaccine

— Cellular Biomedicine Group Inc. announced today it is acquiring Blackbird Bio’s University of South Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center’s next generation vaccine to treat melanoma and Stage 4 unresectable non-small cell lung cancer.

Through this acquisition, CBMG, the only Chinese biomedicine firm traded on the NASDAQ, will initiate a Phase II clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the vaccine.
