HCC in the News: JPMorgan awards $1M to local college for transportation center

Hillsborough Community College received a $1 million corporate gift from JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) for its Advanced Transportation Technology Center, representing the largest corporate gift in HCC’s history.

The gift also shows the college’s efforts to establish public-private partnerships that expand Tampa Bay’s economy. This is the second major private investment in the ATCC. The first was a $250,000 grant to increase the welding program.
