School District of Palm Beach launching iReady in elementary schools
BOCA RATON – Palm Beach County Schools Superintendent Robert Avossa, Ed.D., will hold a press conference to announce the expansion of a new web-based diagnostic and instructional tool available to all elementary school students for the 2016-2017 school year, during the first teacher training on the new program.
WHAT: Launch and training of i-Ready Diagnostic & Instruction for Reading and Mathematics, K-5 WHEN: Dr. Avossa kicks off i-Ready training on Monday, July 18, starting at 8 a.m.
WHERE: Omni Middle School 5775 Jog Road Boca Raton Starting with the 2016-2017 school year, i-Ready will be used in all District-operated elementary schools to supplement mathematics and reading instruction. i-Ready, which was used in 33 elementary schools during the 2015-2016 school year, is a dynamic tool that teachers can use to measure students’ growth and identify areas where students may need extra help to master the subject matter.
